Perth City and Surrounds

I can’t believe a year (well, almost) has gone already (361 days to be exact). I was only getting used to driving around and living like a local. I will definitely miss the very affordable West Australian wine (of course), the food trucks, the hip bar/cafe/mural culture, the historic streets and sites, the urban villages, the parks, the beaches, and the easy drive to the Australian bush. Perth is definitely a hipster country. Enjoyed calling it home even for just a short time.

Maylands/Perth City (May 2016)

The cries of insignificance reek through every form of urban expression and street culture. If you listen closely, the echoes of emptiness and desires of leaving a legacy can be heard amidst the noise of sociocultural and political activism.
